At ULDALL, we take sustainability seriously.
We aim to develop our company so that sustainability is the mindset behind everything from process optimization to business management.
We are part of the BIRN Group, one of Northern Europe's largest iron foundry groups. For the past two years, we have published a sustainability report detailing all the initiatives we have worked on in the field of sustainability.
ESG - Environment, Social og Governance
In 2026 - from the financial year 2025 - we, as part of a large group, are covered by the new EU legislation on reporting on Environment (E), Social (S) and Governance (G), respectively.
We are already well on our way, and can here share some of the initiatives we have been working on.
Environment
ULDALL works continuously to reduce our CO2 emissions and energy consumption in connection with the production of cast iron items. In addition, we have a strong focus on recycling materials.
Social sustainability
We prioritize both the mental and physical work environment and consider it natural to educate and develop our employees.
Governance
Good and proper corporate governance is the foundation of our healthy and successful business and workplace.
UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
One of our core values at ULDALL is responsibility - for our employees and for the environment.
